One year ago..
One year ago we were planning on moving.. We just needed to decide where to go. We didn’t have many plans or goals, but the ones we did have involved both of us. I don’t think we ever expected to be apart. We didn’t expect this.. One year ago, we were happy. We were two people just loving the company of one another. Exactly a year ago, you told me you loved me. You told me I was the only person you saw yourself with. Did you ever think that a year from then, we’d be giving our hearts to other people? Did you think that so much would change in that one year? Because I didn’t. One year ago we loved each other, now we’re nothing but strangers. One year ago, my entire world revolved around you.. Now, I hardly know you.
Pretty sure she let I love you slip out of her mouth. I’m not okay with that. Not yet.
